Appointmentscalendar

Patients are seen by appointment only and bookings can be made either in person or by telephone. For routine appointments please ring after 11:00.    Patients are welcome to express a preference of the particular GP they would like to see, but this may incur a delay in the appointment being offered as all the GP's are not available everyday.

Patients will generally be seen within 2 working days  unless a specific doctor is requested. Urgent cases will be seen on the same day, if necessary without appointment.

Patients aged 16-75 who have not been seen within 3 years, and patients over 75 years who have not been seen within 12 months, will be invited to attend the surgery for a routine check-up.  This will not prejudice their request for an appointment

EXTENDED - PRIMARY CARE SERVICES - ACCESS FOR PATIENTS

The practice aims to provide appointments for all patients and in order to provide for patients only able to reach the service in the extended hours after 6.30pm, we advise you to call the practice and we will be able to advise any availability in the extended hours primary care service - please visit the following link to know more about what extended access for patients is:_

For an emergency when the surgery is closed please call 111 to be signposted to the correct out of hours service. Life threatening emergencies are 999 or A&E.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

At present the premises are partly suitable for disabled patients' access.  Access to the entrance door of the surgery is negotiable with no steps/kerbs, but at present we do not have electronic doors.  However, this work is currently contracted and hopefully will be operational by March 2013. In the meantime, iIf any patient has difficulties in opening the front door they should use the bell to the right of the door and a receptionist will come and help.

 

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
